Mathematics

At GATE Academy, the school day starts with 70+ minutes of mathematics instruction. Each student progresses at their own rate through a curriculum with a standard scope and sequence. Individualized instruction allows every student to reach their greatest potential. Core math teachers also pose complex applied problems, oversee math team-type games, and facilitate participation in math competitions. Teachers use a variety of tools, textbooks and online programs to help students master and practice math concepts. Each year GATE Academy has students who score in the top 10% internationally in the worldwide Math Olympiad program.
